Devil's Bridge is the terminus for the
Vale of Rheidol Narrow Gauge Steam Railway and is famous for the three bridges,
one on top of the other, dating back to the 11th Century spanning the spectacular
Mynach Falls which tumble 300 feet into the Rheidol Gorge. The area abounds
with delightful scenic walks or drives and much of Wales can be visited
by car in one day, thanks to our relatively traffic free roads. Birdwatchers
are in paradise with guaranteed sightings of the Red Kite |
|
and a high chance of spotting many other birds of prey, summer
migrants and residents in the surrounding countryside, or at the nearby
RSPB centres. The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth is worth a visit
and there are numerous other visitor attractions in the area. Whatever you
would like to do, we can help you plan your days to enjoy fully this special
part of Wales. |
